This post is regarding Group policy template and Group policy container.

Group Policy Templates and Containers

GPT : Group policy template store in sysvol folder and it contains the information of computer and user configurations along with GPT.ini files and ACL of group policies.
GPC : Group policy container is active directory container and contain the information of group policy version, properties and OU details where group policy linked. Group policy container stored under CN=Policies,CN=System Container within domain.
