Account Lockout Event

This post is regarding account lockout event id and how we can find out the lockout event id .

Please find out the Orig domain controller where account lockout event is triggered . Login to that domain controller and open the event viewer and filter the security logs by 4740 event id.

4740 event id is for account lockout. 4740 event id show the lockout source for domain users.
