Query for Updating a View

Hello All,

Hope this post finds you in good health and spirit.

Structured Query Language, abbreviated as SQL, is a domain-specific language used in programming and designed for managing data held in a relational database management system, or for stream processing in a relational data stream management system.

An good developer must be familiar with a few commands in SQL because it is such a strong development tool. The SQL queries listed below are important for coding and optimization. Almost every system that interacts with a SQL database will be affected by each query in the SQL tutorial.

Query for Updating a View

The “Product List” view is updated by this query, and if it doesn’t already exist, it is generated according to the parameters it contains. Another name for the view is a virtual table. To put it another way, a view is just a duplicate of a table whose contents is the outcome of a stored query.

A view is an accurate replica of another table or set of tables. A view gets its information or data from base tables, which are previously generated tables. Real tables make up base tables. Every operation carried out on a view actually affects the base table. Views are just as usable by users as actual or base tables. Users can utilise a variety of DDL and DML commands in view, including as update, insert into, and delete.

CREATE OR REPLACE VIEW [ Product List] AS
SELECT ProductID, ProductName, Category
FROM Products
WHERE Discontinued = No;

So, that’s all in this blog. I will meet you soon with next stuff .Have a nice day !!!
